Wister GEAR UP students tour Oklahoma State University

Wilburton senior GEAR UP students recently visited the Science Museum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Students engaged in hands-on learning experiences as they interacted with numerous science exhibits. Students learned about electricity, motion, gravity, geology, and space. The exhibits students visited included the Navy Gallery, Mirror Maze, Eye on the Sky, EneryQuest, Elemental Worlds, and Destination Space. Wilburton Junior GEAR UP students recently visited Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center in Spiro, OK. Recently Rattan 12th grade students visited the Aviation Sciences Institute at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Howe Senior GEAR UP students recently took an educational trip to the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum in Dallas, TX. Thirteen Eufaula High School 11th and 12th-grade GEAR UP students recently toured OSU-IT (Oklahoma State University of Technology) in Okmulgee, OK. Whitesboro Students Visit Hochatown Animal Rescue and Petting Zoo.

Recently 11th and 12th grade Whitesboro GEAR UP students toured Hochatown Animal Rescue and Petting Zoo (HRC). During their visit, students were led through buildings that included interaction with the animals.
