Thirty-four Crowder eighth and ninth grade Eastern Oklahoma State College GEAR UP students recently toured Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma. Students began the day in the Fine Arts Auditorium where they received information about Connors State College, current staff, available majors, work-study programs, sports, and financial aid. Forty-six seventh and eighth grade Crowder GEAR UP students recently toured ORU (Oral Roberts University) in Tulsa. Forty-nine Crowder GEAR UP students recently traveled to Tulsa to tour The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art. Dennis Chambers and Pam Johnson greeted students; both have been docents at the museum for many years and were extremely knowledgeable of the Jewish culture and history.
