Harmony eighth grade GEAR UP students tour Southeastern Oklahoma State University

Seventeen eighth grade Harmony GEAR UP students recently toured SOSU (Southeastern Oklahoma State University) in Durant. The students were met in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union by Admissions Counselor and Recruiter Steven Harris. After a brief overview of college life, organizations, and student services, Harris led the students on a walking tour of the campus. Harmony GEAR UP students tour the Atoka Museum and Civil War Cemetery

Fifteen GEAR UP students from Harmony school recently toured the Atoka Museum and Civil War Cemetery. Established in 1979, the Museum covers the history of the Civil War in Oklahoma as well as the history of Atoka County. Harmony GEAR UP students visit Durant State Fish Hatchery

Thirty GEAR UP students from Harmony Public Schools recently toured the Durant State Fish Hatchery located on the Blue River in Durant. The 6th and 7th graders spent the day exploring the hatchery and learning about its role in the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife.
