Hartshorne seventh grade GEAR UP students tour Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium

Forty-five Hartshorne seventh grade GEAR UP recently toured the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium. Membership Coordinator Madeline Butler began by dividing the students into two groups in an effort to ensure students a better learning environment. Poteau eighth grade GEAR UP girls explore the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium

Fifty-three Poteau eighth grade girls recently traveled to Tulsa to explore the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium. The museum houses many different aircraft and replicas related to different eras of flight, including the aviation history in Oklahoma. Fifty-five Poteau eighth grade students recently toured The Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium. Antlers 8th Grade GEAR UP students recently toured Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Museum Volunteer Pete Barnosky led the tour and pointed out several highlights of the Museum. Buffalo Valley GEAR UP students recently toured Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Students began the tour boarding the Museum’s MD-80 that was donated by American Airlines after 26 years of service and 39,968 flights. On board they were able to have the “Flight Experience” which is a video presentation about space exploration and flight.
