Moyers GEAR UP students’ tours Murray State College

Sixteen GEAR UP students recently toured Murray State College. The tour began at the Welcome Center with a greeting from Murray State tour guides. Clayton 11th grade GEAR UP students recently toured CASC (Carl Albert State College) in Poteau, Oklahoma. Eastern Oklahoma State College GEAR UP hosted the Chamber Theater’s ENCORE! Presentation with over 1100 GEAR UP students in attendance on the EOSC Wilburton Campus. Chamber Theater has been bringing literature to life for over 45 years. The event showcased classic authors including Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, Washington Irving, W.W. Poteau Eastern Oklahoma State College Gear Up students recently toured NSU (Northeastern State University) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The students were greeted at the University Center where they were welcomed by NSU’s student tour guides. The trip began with a slideshow covering college preparation and different organizations, clubs, and degrees offered by NSU. Next, they discussed NSU’s application process and requirements for freshmen and transfer students. They covered scholarship opportunities that are available to incoming freshmen.
