Assistant Director of Enrollment Management Derek DeYonge greeted the students and encouraged them to look for new opportunities since this was their first visit to Grayson College. Howe eleventh grade GEAR UP students recently traveled to Fort Smith, Arkansas, to tour the University of Arkansas (UAFS). After a brief introduction, Admissions Advisor Matti Sellers asked students about their career interests and programs students wanted to visit on campus before dividing into two groups which were led by Sellers and Student Ambassador Abbie Dickson. Seventy GEAR UP students from Coalgate High School recently traveled to Okmulgee, OK, to tour the campus of Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT). Kimberly Huntsberger, Campus Tour Coordinator, greeted the students and gave a brief overview of college life and the unique programs offered at OSUIT. After the introduction, recruiters guided students on a walking tour of the campus, including the dormitories, Cowboy Café dining hall, Student Union, and Covelle Hall Wellness Center.

Eighteen Rattan GEAR UP students recently toured Murray State College. The tour began at the Welcome Center with a greeting from Paula Henley, Executive Director of Outreach and Advisement. The students were given a walking tour led by Aggie Ambassadors Gavin Crouch, Kaylee Foster, and Nathan Wolfe. The tour included stops at the newly constructed Lynn Colbert Science and Agriculture Building, Administration Building, Health Science Center, Clyde Hall Classroom building, and Zimmerman Library Science buildings.
