Wilburton ninth grade GEAR UP students recently toured UAFS (University of Arkansas Fort Smith). Students were met by UAFS student ambassadors, and discussed the admissions process as well as on-campus and online degree programs. Wilburton seventh and eighth Grade GEAR UP students recently visited the Tulsa Zoo. The 85-acre, non-profit Zoo is home to various types of wildlife. Wilburton 8th grade GEAR UP students recently toured Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee (OSUIT). Sable Vasquez, OSUIT Special Events Coordinator and tour guide began the tour at the Donald W. Reynolds Technology Center.
