Eufaula GEAR UP seventh graders tour the Oklahoma Aquarium & Tulsa Community College

Thirty Eufaula GEAR UP students recently traveled to Jenks to visit the Oklahoma Aquarium and Tulsa to tour Tulsa Community College (TCC). Students began the morning by participating in a guided tour at OK Aquarium. Education Specialist Julia Gibson led students behind the scenes of the OK Aquarium exhibits. Fanshawe 6th and 7th Grade GEAR UP students recently visited the Science Museum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. The two-story museum consists of a wide-array of hands-on activities that allow students to have fun in an engaging way. Students roamed, ran, and played while learning about various science principles. The museum, as well as the name, has evolved since its creation in 1958. Fifty-one Eufaula GEAR UP students recently traveled to visit the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks, then to Tulsa to tour Tulsa Community College (TCC). Twenty–three seniors at Red Oak High School recently completed training and received CPR course completion certificates.
