Whitesboro GEAR UP students visit the Oklahoma City Zoo

Twenty–three Whitesboro 7th and 8th grade students recently visited the Oklahoma City Zoo. Students spent the afternoon exploring the indoor and outdoor animal exhibits offered by the Oklahoma City Zoo. They discovered different habitats such as Sanctuary Asia which encompasses the elephant pavilion and habitat. The 14.5 acres is home to the newborn elephant, Kairavi. Seventh and eighth grade GEAR UP students from Moyers Public Schools recently toured the campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. Thirty-nine Keota GEAR UP seventh and eighth grade students recently toured Connors State College and the Muskogee War Memorial Park, home of the USS Batfish. Twenty–four Bokoshe seventh and eighth grade GEAR UP students recently toured Carl Albert State College in Poteau and the University of Arkansas campus in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Poteau GEAR UP students tour Tulsa Community College—Southeast Campus

One hundred and twelve Poteau GEAR UP students recently traveled to Tulsa to tour the Southeast campus of Tulsa Community College (TCC). Buffalo Valley GEAR UP students tour the Tulsa Air and Space Museum

Buffalo Valley GEAR UP students recently toured Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Students began the tour boarding the Museum’s MD-80 that was donated by American Airlines after 26 years of service and 39,968 flights. Fifty-one GEAR UP students recently traveled to Tulsa to tour the Southeast Campus of Tulsa Community College (TCC).
