Seventeen Shady Point eighth grade GEAR UP students recently toured NSU (Northeastern State University) in Tahlequah. Students began the day at the University Center where they were greeted by NSU Campus Visit Program Graduate Assistant Bailey Rush, and NSU Student Ambassadors Tim Gardenhigh and Cheyenne Johns. Shady Point GEAR UP students tour Tulsa Glassblowing School and Connors State College

Twenty-five Shady Point GEAR UP students recently toured the Tulsa Glassblowing School and Connors State College. Students began their day at TGS (Tulsa Glassblowing School) where they met Susan Teeters, Program Director. As TGS students demonstrated how to create a large glass ornament, Teeters explained the process. Shady Point GEAR UP students tour the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art and Oklahoma State University

Twenty-three GEAR UP seventh and eighth graders from Shady Point School recently toured the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art in Stillwater. Upon arrival, students met with Education and Programming Coordinator Casey Pankey and Education and Programming Interns Gianna Martucci-Fink and Audrey Gleason.
