Savanna GEAR UP Students tour Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum

Twenty-five GEAR UP students from Savanna High School recently traveled to Dallas, TX, to tour the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum. Museum Experience Lead Ellie Keffler greeted the students and briefly explained the museum’s mission. Sixty-five Savanna freshman and sophomore GEAR UP students recently attended a motivational presentation in Stringtown, Ok. The event was sponsored by Stringtown Public Schools. Stringtown Superintendent Tony Potts and other faculty members welcomed the Savanna students and encouraged them to listen and participate in the meeting. 550 area high school sophomore GEAR UP students from 30 schools learned how to better prepare for the ACT as they attended a virtual, three-hour workshop presented by Chad Cargill, Founder and President of Cargill Consulting, Inc.
