Forty-five Canadian High School tenth and eleventh-grade GEAR UP students recently toured NSU (Northeastern State University) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Students began the trip with a greeting and presentation from NSU’s RiverHawk Ambassador Patsy Spottedbird. Sixty Canadian tenth and eleventh-grade GEAR UP students recently visited the U 2 Zoo program at the Tulsa Zoo. The tour began in the Event Center, where the group was greeted by Private Event Coordinator Karen Williamson and Education Manager Chris Young. Fifty-one Canadian freshmen and sophomore GEAR UP students recently toured the Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium. GEAR UP students received a guided tour of the museum. Forty-four Canadian freshmen and sophomore GEAR UP students recently participated in a virtual college tour of EOSC (Eastern Oklahoma State College). Canadian GEAR UP sixth and seventh graders tour Tulsa Community College & OK Aquarium

Fifty-one Canadian GEAR UP students recently traveled to Tulsa to tour Tulsa Community College (TCC) and Jenks to visit the Oklahoma Aquarium. Students began the morning by participating in a guided tour at the Southeast Campus of TCC. Student Recruiters William Baldwin and Ali Castillo led students through the beautiful campus. TCC is the third largest school in our state with enrollment numbers around 25,000 students. There are four main campuses in the Tulsa area.
