2022 NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference in Washington, DC

Twenty-one students, chaperones, and GEAR UP team members recently attended the 2022 NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference in Washington, DC. The group spent four days touring Temple University and Columbia University, as well as historical sites in New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, DC. Orlando, Florida was the site of the 2020 NCCEP/GEAR UP Capacity Building Workshop. Five members of the Eastern Oklahoma State College GEAR UP team joined more than 1,300 GEAR UP professionals from across the nation at the workshop designed to help new and experienced GEAR UP professionals effectively meet their project goals and objectives through professional development and strategic planning activities. Three Eastern Oklahoma State College GEAR UP team members recently attended the 2019 Rural College Access and Success Summit at The Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Over 500 educators from across the United States attended the Summit.
